Welcome Back to Mrs. Sample's AIG Classroom!
Hello Parents and Guardians, I am very excited to be the AIG Specialist here at Carolina Forest International Elementary School. This is my 13th year with the Onslow County Schools system and third as an AIG specialist. I am excited and looking forward to serving our gifted and talented students at CFIE again this school year.
My Educational Background....
I graduated in 2012 from The University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. My degree was accompanied by a concentration in Mathematics and Technology. I then continued my education and completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2017. I completed my certification in the Academically and Intellectually Gifted program in the spring of 2021.
Personal Life...
I have lived in Onslow County for the majority of my life. I graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2008 and continued my education through UNCW - go Seahawks! Outside of school, I enjoy collecting Baby Yoda "Grogu" memorabilia, reading, shopping, traveling and drinking iced coffee.
